The Executive Committee of the Federal B. Area Association of Trade & Industry (FBATI) provides strategic leadership and direction to the Association and plays a central role in representing the interests of the industrial and business community of Federal B. Area, Karachi.
Comprising experienced industrialists, traders, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from the area, the Executive Committee brings together a wealth of practical knowledge and diverse expertise. The Committee works collectively to identify the challenges faced by member industries, develop appropriate strategies, and engage with relevant government departments, regulatory authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to seek effective and sustainable solutions.
The Executive Committee is responsible for guiding the Association’s activities and ensuring that FBATI remains focused on the needs and priorities of its members.
To ensure targeted focus and speedy resolution of members' issues, the Executive Committee operates dedicated standing sub-committees:
Coordinating gas pressure, electricity reliability, water quotas, and tariff disputes with SSGC, K-Electric, and KW&SC.
Liaison with Sindh Police, District Central administration, Rangers, and emergency response teams to protect industrial zones.
Representing member views on federal budgets, sales tax refunds, provincial levies, SRB compliance, and customs tariffs.
Overseeing industrial road rehabilitation, storm-water drainage, waste management, and street lighting maintenance.
Facilitating international buyer delegations, trade concessions, export certification, and federal commerce dialogue.
Advising members on environmental compliance, effluent discharge protocols, industrial safety, and renewable energy adoption.
